Calloway’s Hello Dolly

When Lauren saw Hello Dolly in 2018, she was fascinated with her.  The mare was absolutely walking away with the AMHA World Show.  She won 8 titles at that show and has a total of 18 championships and an ROM in her career!  Quite a record, and for a mare.  Lauren, who loves good driving horses said that she would really love to have that gorgeous mare.  Years passed and recently Lauren learned that Hello Dolly might be for sale.  She talked to me about it and we checked the records and saw her age and the fact that the Studbook only had one foal listed, from last year.

We went back an forth about it and then that night, Lauren went out to eat and then texted me this picture, asking, “Is this a sign?” I responded, “Yes.”  And told her to go ahead and buy her to breed to Secret this year, even though it is later than we usually breed and since Guinness is at the trainer getting ready for World we will use him next year.

On the top side she is a great grand daughter of World Champion Shadow Oaks Top Banana by Shadow Oaks Paul Bunyan.  On the bottom side she goes back to some of the best of the breed in AMHA beginning:  Dell Tera’s Moon Man, Stout’s Mister Pride and Bond Sir Galahad
