Andy's Hestia

Hestia’s sire goes back to World Champion Sierra Dawn Uno de Mayo and out of a wonderful overo daughter of Little America Silver Tornado who was only 26″ tall, so this filly is little and bred to stay that way.  If you are looking for the tiniest of our breeding, look no further than this bloodline.  This is one of the tiniest filly of the year so far.  Her name is that of the Greek Goddess of hearth and home and it was the name of the restaurant Lauren took us to for Tony’s 80th birthday celebration.  This filly was born a few hours after we got home.

Her dam is by a beautiful palomino stallion, Little America’s Traveller and goes back to Little America’s Sesquicentennial Tex, our very first Appaloosa.  He was byt Xenon-Light Van’t Huttenest by Orion=Light Van’t Huttenest.

Hestia has three full brothers that are all sorrel and white pintos.  Not sure what happened to her, but she should throw color if you are looking for a broodmare eventually.  Meanwhile she would make a good youth show horse or therapy prospect.
