Little America’s Guinness Daytripper*

Carol and I were in Waco at a President’s Conference for Texas Farm Bureau.  The evening of the first day was a dinner at Ridgewood Country Club where our entertainment was a wonderful presentation of Texas Trivia by the star of The Daytripper, Chet Garner.  We DVR and watch his show which is sponsored by Texas Farm Bureau all the time.  After the fun evening, before getting in the pickup to go to our hotel, I checked my texts and had a wonderful surprise, this amazingly colorful colt had been born while the show was going on.  To celebrate the evening we decided his name had to be Daytripper.

His dam is one of our most beautiful mares and his sire is our incomparable show horse.  What a fantastic cross that will be repeated, I can promise.  Look for him in our show string and later behind a cart for us or someone else to show.   He may end up being the King of the Ring.  In fact I changed from an earlier name with which I started this post!  His dam, Divine, is royally bred with many World Champions including Hemlock Brooks Egyptian King, Flying W Farms Little Blue Boy, Orion, and even the original appaloosa miniature, Chianti!!!  He is a full brother to the beautiful colt born last year, Little America’s Guinness King o’ th’ Ring
