We were so pleased when this filly was foaled few minutes after noon on Saint Patrick’s Day. Her dam had been in the barn for about a week and we were really hoping for a tiny palomino filly since she was bred to our three time World Champion, PQ! Thanks to the luck of the Irish, I got my wish and found a pot of gold on the lawn when I responded to the beeper she was wearing.
Her dam is a beautiful little bald-faced palomino mare that traces back to lots of “gold” of AMHA history: Five times to Gold Melody Boy, with Boone’s Little Buckeroo twice, Rowdy twice, Dell Tera’s Moonman, thrown in for more excellence in the pedigree line.
Miss St Patty’s sire, PQ, is a three time World Champion and has already produced four Reserve World Champions and two World Champions. Maybe this little gal will follow in his footsteps.
Bred to the late Scott Creek Monarch’s Onyx for 2024.
